Confused Colors

Some colors are hard to tell wich is wich. Here I hope to explain the differences between a few:

Smutty Orange/Tort/Tort Otter

• Smutty Orange: They will have a bright orange color. Outside of ears will not be frosted. Smutty Point color like markings will not go all the way down the hair shaft. Most of the time they will not have any dark markings on their legs and if they do it will not go all the way down the fur shaft again. The quickest and easiet way to tell an orange is that their belly color will be white down to the skin.
• Tort: Tort is faily easy to tell but it helps to have one as a comparison. Torts will have clear dark point markings. Color will be full down to the skin. Legs/feet will be shaded. Will not have any white markings.
• Tort Otter: Here is the tough one. White around the ears will be clear. Nose will have a white undermark. Outside of legs, feetm nose and ears will be dark in color. It will show clear down to the skin. Undercolor will NOT be a clean white color. Instead it will have an off white tone to it.
